In the arctic winter nights in northern Norway you can experience the exquisite dance of the Northern Lights against a backdrop of stars and shooting stars!

On this trip we take you out to the darkest fjords to witness the Northern Lights in the best possible conditions.

Out on the sea we are not disturbed by artificial lighting, and the Northern Lights glow with their true colours.

The Northern Lights are usually best seen between
17:00 to 01:00 if conditions are right, but we have seen very strong Northern Lights as early as 15:00 in the afternoon.

We will announce the trip on the day when we know that conditions are right.

The Northern Lights can occur any day but it is usually strongest on clear, cold nights after strong solar activity.
The Northern Lights can be just as amazing when the sky is partly cloudy and are sometimes visible on warmer nights.

This is also the herring season, and if we are lucky we will have the opportunity to get a very close look at the herring fishery in action.

A great place to check out if the conditions are good for the aurora is www.northern-lights.no
